If there are no values for a particular field from the source, or you have a business case where only one value should ever be populated for a particular field, use the Overwrite with default value option to set a specific value.
To overwrite mappings with a default value:
- Navigate to the field in the destination field mappings tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and toggle Overwrite with a default value.
- Enter your value or select from the dropdown field labeled Type or select a value.
- Optionally, toggle Apply only for null values to only apply this value when there is no value for this field from the source.
