Usually saving place mapping is required before assets may be synced. Place mapping tells the connector which locations are available for asset syncing. Read more: How do I sync Places from a source CMMS connector?
After locations have been synced, sync or import assets (Things, Collections) from each CMMS source connector. This can typically be found on a tab Asset Sync or Asset Mappings in most connector configs.
- You will need to map each asset type, category or group from the source to the Mapped ontology. This will require asset types to be manually mapped between the source and Mapped ontology in the source connector config.
- Select the Building(s) whose assets you want to sync then select Sync Assets.
- The assets should each be created with an org-scoped ExternalIdentity for its identifier from that CMMS system.
Notably, for Nuvolo CMMS assets are synced from the Nuvolo Destination connector, not the Source connector. Willow twin assets are imported from the Willow Import connector.
