These steps will vary across connectors as the data sources vary. The steps usually look like:
- You will need to save place mapping in a Mapping or Select Buildings tab of the source connector config.
- For each row in the place mapping, you'll need to select the appropriate Site and enter the postal address of the Building. Most place mappings require you to also enter a Floor Level for each Floor, and you may have the option to rename the Floor or rename any Space if applicable. All required columns will be marked with an asterisk.
- It's recommended to use either the CSV Export/Import option or the Rules Based Mapping Editor (code), but not both. Using both may result in conflicts.
- Once you have completed the place mapping selections, Save to apply and provision these places from the connector. This will add the appropriate source ExternalIdentity to the locations in the place mapping.
